Personal Ministry Bible Study

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT THIS STUDY IS ONLY AN OVERVIEW

OF THE SUBJECT!!!

Numbers 23:12 And he answered, "Must I not take heed to speak what the LORD puts in my mouth?"

2 Cor 5:18 All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation;

19 that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation.

20 So we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We beseech you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.

2 Cor 6:4 but as servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: through great endurance, in afflictions, hardships, calamities,

5 beatings, imprisonments, tumults, labors, watching, hunger;

6 by purity, knowledge, forbearance, kindness, the Holy Spirit, genuine love,

7 truthful speech, and the power of God; with the weapons of righteousness for the right hand and for the left;

8 in honor and dishonor, in ill repute and good repute. We are treated as impostors, and yet are true;

9 as unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and behold we live; as punished, and yet not killed;

10 as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing everything.

Eph 4:11 And his gifts were that some should be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers,12 to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ,

1 Thes 2:11 for you know how, like a father with his children, we exhorted each one of you and encouraged you and charged you12 to lead a life worthy of God, who calls you into his own kingdom and glory.

1 Tim 4:11 Command and teach these things.

12 Let no one despise your youth, but set the believers an example in speech and conduct, in love, in faith, in purity

2 Tim 2:21 If any one purifies himself from what is ignoble, then he will be a vessel for noble use, consecrated and useful to the master of the house, ready for any good work.

22 So shun youthful passions and aim at righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call upon the Lord from a pure heart.

23 Have nothing to do with stupid, senseless controversies; you know that they breed quarrels.

24 And the Lord's servant must not be quarrelsome but kindly to every one, an apt teacher, forbearing,

25 correcting his opponents with gentleness. God may perhaps grant that they will repent and come to know the truth,

26 and they may escape from the snare of the devil, after being captured by him to do his will.

2 Tim 4:5 As for you, always be steady, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, fulfil your ministry.

Titus 2: Show yourself in all respects a model of good deeds, and in your teaching show integrity, gravity,

8 and sound speech that cannot be censured, so that an opponent may be put to shame, having nothing evil to say of us.

1 Peter 4:10 As each has received a gift, employ it for one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace:

1 Peter 5: 2 Tend the flock of God that is your charge, not by constraint but willingly, not for shameful gain but eagerly,

3 not as domineering over those in your charge but being examples to the flock.

Jer 1:7 But the LORD said to me, "Do not say, `I am only a youth'; for to all to whom I send you you shall go, and whatever I command you you shall speak.

8 Be not afraid of them, for I am with you to deliver you, says the LORD."

9 Then the LORD put forth his hand and touched my mouth; and the LORD said to me, "Behold, I have put my words in your mouth.

10 See, I have set you this day over nations and over kingdoms, to pluck up and to break down, to destroy and to overthrow, to build and to plant."

John 4:36 He who reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit for eternal life, so that sower and reaper may rejoice together.

Romans 2:1 you then who teach others, will you not teach yourself? While you preach against stealing, do you steal?

22 You who say that one must not commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples?

23 You who boast in the law, do you dishonor God by breaking the law?

1 Cor 1: 26 For consider your call, brethren; not many of you were wise according to worldly standards, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth;

27 but God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise, God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong,

28 God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are,

1 Cor 3:7 So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth.

8 He who plants and he who waters are equal, and each shall receive his wages according to his labor.

9 For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, God's building.

10 According to the grace of God given to me, like a skilled master builder I laid a foundation, and another man is building upon it. Let each man take care how he builds upon it.

1 Cor 9:16 For if I preach the gospel, that gives me no ground for boasting. For necessity is laid upon me. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel!

17 For if I do this of my own will, I have a reward; but if not of my own will, I am entrusted with a commission.

18 What then is my reward? Just this: that in my preaching I may make the gospel free of charge, not making full use of my right in the gospel.

19 For though I am free from all men, I have made myself a slave to all, that I might win the more.

2 Cor 3:5 Not that we are competent of ourselves to claim anything as coming from us; our competence is from God,

6 who has made us competent to be ministers of a new covenant, not in a written code but in the Spirit; for the written code kills, but the Spirit gives life.

2 Cor 4:1 Therefore, having this ministry by the mercy of God, we do not lose heart.

2 We have renounced disgraceful, underhanded ways; we refuse to practice cunning or to tamper with God's word, but by the open statement of the truth.
