Special Events:

Opportunities for ministry - God's Grub needs help with preparing the meal each week on Thursday afternoons.  Expectations for Women (formerly Pregnancy Care Center) needs counselors and receptionists.

Zumba today at 3:00 p.m. in Fellowship Hall.  Zumba classes feature exotic rhythms set to high energy Latin and international beats.  Cost is $3.00 per person.

Tuesday evening Bible Study will be held at the parsonage at 6:30 until further notice.

Walkers are wanted for the Pregnancy Care Center Walk on May 7, 2011 a 10:00 at Knoebel's.  This walk is to raise funds for the Shamokin Pregnancy Care Center.  Anyone interested can contact Becky at 295-9662.

Tuesday morning Bible Study has been discontinued.  Watch the bulletin and newsletter for more new small group opportunities.

The Boy Scouts will be having a spaghetti dinner on May 14.  Please come out and support the scouts.

The Trustees will be having a Parsonage Work Day on May 14 from 8:00 to ?.  They will be re-caulking the windows, tearing up a sidewalk, working on the yard, and painting.   If you can make, please sign up for your project.

A Seraphim choir from Texas, a music ministry of the Denton Wesley Foundation, will be at the church on Sunday May 22 at 7:00 pm.  There will be a potluck starting at 5:00 pm for the congregation and the choir members.  The director is Trevor Shaw from Northumberland, PA.  Please come out and support these young people.

June 5th is Graduation Sunday.  If you know someone who will be graduating, please let Pastor Susan know by May 15th.
